1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how NextPhase LLC (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you (the “user” or “your”) use the mobile application Nara (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you acknowledge and accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies exclusively to the Nara mobile application and any related web features operated by NextPhase LLC.

3. Information We Collect

Nara does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information or financial data on external servers controlled by NextPhase LLC.

All data you enter into the App—including income, expenses, account balances, categories, and goals—is stored locally on your device and remains under your exclusive control.

If you enable iCloud synchronization, your data may be securely backed up and synchronized across devices through Apple’s iCloud infrastructure. NextPhase LLC does not have access to this data. The use of iCloud is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Your Information

Since Nara does not collect or transmit user data to our servers, we do not use your personal information for analytics, marketing, or any other purpose.

All calculations, insights, and reports generated by the App occur locally on your device.

5. Email Communications, Feedback & Wait-list

If you choose to join our wait-list or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address solely to communicate updates about Nara, request feedback, and send occasional newsletters.

We will not sell your email address. Currently, we do not use a third-party email service provider to manage these communications, but we may in the future. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send or by emailing us at [email protected]. After you unsubscribe, we will remove your email address (or anonymize it) unless retention for legal or legitimate business purposes is required.

We keep your email address only as long as the subscription is active or until you request deletion. For more information about your rights (access, correction, deletion) please see the “Your Rights” section of this policy.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise disclose any user data to third parties. Nara does not include advertising networks or third-party tracking SDKs.

The data exchange that may occur is limited to the following cases:

  • Sync data using iCloud.
  • Complete an in-app purchase through the App Store.
  • Send optional, anonymous usage analytics (if you opt in) to help us understand how the app is used.
  • Deliver push notifications via Apple’s Push Notification service (if you enable notifications).

When Apple services are involved, Apple’s respective terms and privacy policies apply.

Anonymous usage analytics (optional)
We collect optional, anonymous usage analytics if you choose to share them. This includes general usage patterns (such as screens opened, features used, and session length) and does not include any personal identifiers, transaction amounts, or bank data. The usage data is not linked to you or your device and is used only to improve the app.

Remote push notifications & device identifier
If you enable push notifications, Nara will collect a device push token solely for the purpose of delivering notifications you’ve opted into. This token is not linked to your identity, not used for advertising or tracking, and not shared with third parties.

Opt-in and opt-out controls
You may opt out of sharing anonymous analytics at any time from the app’s settings. You may also disable notifications or revoke notification permissions in your device’s Settings.

Minimal data collection
We do not collect your personal data or transactions. We collect only optional, anonymous usage data and push tokens (if you enable notifications) — none of which can identify you.

Compliance with App Store App Privacy disclosures
This privacy policy supports our App Store App Privacy disclosures:

  • Usage Data → Product Interaction (not linked to you, not used for tracking).
  • Identifiers → Device ID (push token only, not linked to you, not used for tracking).

7. In-App Purchases

Payments and subscriptions within Nara are processed by Apple via the App Store platform. NextPhase LLC does not collect or store any payment information, credit card details, or billing records.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data stored on your device. These include optional biometric authentication (Face ID) or passcode protection within the App, and encrypted communication for iCloud synchronization.

However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmission or storage.

9. Children’s Privacy

Nara is not intended for children under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or process personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise or update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the App or through our official website. Your continued use of Nara after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
